THREADING
Threading is a very unique method of removing facial hair The technique has been practised for many centuries in India, Pakistan and the Middle East and has become a very popular form of hair removal within the beauty industry amongst models and top beauty salons and recently has taken America by storm.
It involves a twisted piece of cotton used by the therapist, which is looped round the fingers to remove the hair. Hairs are trapped within the cotton, whether it be a row of hairs or single, the technique is very precise. It is a quick treatment and lasts 2 to 4 weeks. However the re-growth period depends on the individual. Threading involves no products on the skin and creates beautiful arched eyebrows. Threading is more precise and very efficient, effective and it gives a sharp and clean finish to your eyebrows. Threading slows down the growth of hair. It removes any peach fuzz from the skin surface. There is no burning, peeling, or irritation and is good for getting rid of in-grown hairs.
Advantages cited for eyebrow threading, as opposed to eyebrow waxing, are that it provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows and is gentler on the skin. It can be painful as several hairs are removed at once: however, this can be minimised if it is done correctly
I have been using the art of threading for more than 30 years.
